Tailgate: 49ers vs Seahawks

October 18, 2012 – Thursday Night Football

How do you tailgate when you’re rushing to Candlestick Park from work, with no time to spare? You order take-out food and get rid of the grill of course?

This game didn’t land on a Sunday.

Weekday games are always fun. Maybe it’s the idea of playing hooky or leaving work early that makes them more exciting. Maybe it’s the lights that shine at night throughout the stadium and the even colder breeze from the bay. Or maybe it’s prime time football at it’s finest.

Whatever it is, night games are intense and we were there!

Play Action Shoot (Terrell Lloyd, myself, Kym Fortino, and Ben Warden) – October 7, 2012

Keeping my posts in chronological order…

I just realized that I posted pictures of the tailgate, but forgot to put the actual game! Oops! I swear I will get my momentum back.

This was the first game in October for the San Francisco 49ers, and just like the rest of the other teams in the NFL, there were pops of bright pink throughout the stadium in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

It may have been another day on the job, but I definitely enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

NLDS: Game 1

Giants vs Reds – October 6, 2012

It’s time to play catch up! I know, I know, I know…

I’ve been M.I.A. for far too long! So from now on, I will post photo diaries & tailgate pictures during every “Throwback Thursday” or “Flashback Friday” of the weeks to come until I catch up to present day.

What’s the point? Well, my OCD won’t allow me NOT to post these pictures up and I wouldn’t want you all thinking I’ve been slacking as a sports fan!

So reminisce with me & enjoy!

Celebrating Justin’s 28th “Gold-Blooded” Birthday at Candlestick Park!

With back-to-back San Francisco 49ers home games this entire month, expect tons of pictures coming your way on my blog!

My long-time friend, Justin, only wanted three things for his birthday: family, friends, and 49ers football. Everyone came together to give him exactly what he wanted. We had a big group with us, celebrating at the birthday boy’s tailgate. Good food and great company. Fun, fun, fun!

So prepare to keep scrolling down the page, because I got a lot of pictures up on this one. A LOT! Enjoy!

Giants vs Padres Photo Diary

On our way to AT&T Park for another date night!

Giants vs Padres – September 22, 2012

This timing of this post depended on the outcome of today’s game. I was either going to “take my time” or blog as soon as possible after Game 3.

So now that this is obviously up on the same day, we all know who won! Giants baby!! I’m ready for more torture!

And as the motto “One game at a time” rings in every Giants fans’ ears, let me take you all back to the game that brought us here in the first place…

Tailgate: 49ers vs Lions

September 16, 2012

Football is finally here!!

Yesterday was the San Francisco 49ers home opener at Candlestick Park! I enjoyed my first tailgate of the season with good friends and family.

The place was packed (more than usual), due to the fact that the 49ers just came off an amazing 2011-2012 season. Even though I only hung out for a couple hours, since I had to be on the field for work; I still had a great time.

No Surprises

Press play and thank me later.

I’m the type of person who hates surprises. Call me a bit of a control freak, but every part of me needs to know the basic who, what, when, and how. That’s just me.

However, last year’s 49ers season wasn’t expected at all and this time I can’t complain.

No one could have called it. They had a depressing 6-10 record the year before and no real sign of hope in the near future. Confronted with an NFL lockout, made it even more difficult to stay optimistic.

Where’s Datu?!

Who could that be on television walking by Patrick Willis after the 49ers vs Vikings preseason game?

Me, of course!!! Waldo, who?

It’s become a tradition with my family and friends to play “Where’s Datu?”  My family has recorded each game that I’ve worked on the field (only three so far, but many more to come), and we watch it after, in hopes of spotting myself on t.v.

Giants vs Rockies – May 14, 2012

Our view from the bleachers

I got the second installment for you all in my San Francisco Giants photo diary! I’ve been to a few games so far and I plan on going to way more as the season continues.

This game was on a Monday and it was the only day that me and the rest of my co-workers could get together. I got the whole crew to join me at the ball park!

For those of you who don’t know me personally; besides being a full-time sports fan, I am also a part-time waitress at Hukilau. It’s located in San Jose‘s Japantown and it’s the only Hawaiian restaurant in the area, so you can’t miss it!
