NLDS: Game 1
Giants vs Reds – October 6, 2012
It’s time to play catch up! I know, I know, I know…
I’ve been M.I.A. for far too long! So from now on, I will post photo diaries & tailgate pictures during every “Throwback Thursday” or “Flashback Friday” of the weeks to come until I catch up to present day.
What’s the point? Well, my OCD won’t allow me NOT to post these pictures up and I wouldn’t want you all thinking I’ve been slacking as a sports fan!
So reminisce with me & enjoy!
If you looked at my last Photo Diary, you may have noticed that it was for the San Francisco 49ers game against the Buffalo Bills. If you take a closer look, we attended that game on Sunday (October 7, 2012).
Why am I making this observation?
Well, it was a weekend full of sports, because we went to this game (NLDS Game 1) the night before. We got home around midnight, only to sleep for a couple hours to get ready bright and early to tailgate for the Niners game. Exhausting? Yes, but worth every moment.
It’s hard to be a Bay Area sports fan in October, since there are so many sporting events to attend. It would have been even more difficult if there wasn’t an NHL lockout…
Anyways, back to the game.
So we all know how this game ended. The San Francisco Giants lost against the Cincinnati Reds 5-2. However, this was just the beginning of the victorious inevitable: winning the World Series!
I’ve got parade photos for that too!
So, here’s to catching up. There’s another post coming your way tomorrow. What game will it be this time?
