The mom guilt is real right now.
Today is President’s Day, which means it’s a holiday, which means my son doesn’t have school, which means I’m struggling with getting work done, all while being a decent parent.
Mondays are usually spent finishing homework assignments.
Today, I’m dividing my attention between library technology textbooks and my toddler. I’m definitely spreading myself thin.
Wednesday – September 6, 2017 (4:28 PM)
The tri-tip is in the oven, and dinner is almost ready. I have an hour until it’s time to pick up my little one. Today is just a normal day.
But that’s it. This normal day has become one of the worst days of my life, and I’m trying my best to maintain my composure.
Even with that simple task, I’m not successful. Not today
I’m officially hotter by one degree!
All jokes aside, this has got to be the only time I ever put on makeup during school.
But seriously, my college journey has been one hell of a ride. A lot of ups and downs with many breaks in between. And technically, I’m not quite finished, since I have yet to take two more classes during the summer. Also, I plan to attend grad school next year.
My story is filled with trials and tribulations, but despite that, I still found the motivation to endure it all. I’m a goal-getter, and I am excited to share my experience with you!
